We Develop Academic Games to Demonstrate Climate Change Mitigation Techniques ClimatEG Our Goal ClimatEG intends to teach contemporary methods in climatechange mitigation to high school students in the 11th and 12thgrades and college students in environmental science andeconomics studies. Climate change mitigation refers to efforts to decrease or preventgreenhouse gas emissions. A teachable mitigation method isrepresented as a webbased multiparty educational game. Thegameplay by student teams requires them to understand thebackground of the problem addressed by the mitigation methoddecide on an optimized course of actions and achievemeasurable outcomes in greenhouse gas emissions reductions.
