THE MISSION OF SOUTH SUDANESE FOUNDATION (SSF) IS TO BE A LIFE-CHANGING, TRANSFORMATIVE COMMUNITY FOR NEW AMERICAN FAMILIES WHERE EVERYONE ENCOUNTERS REMINDERS OF LOVE FOR OUR COMMUNITY AND MOVES FORWARD TOGETHER IN OUR NEW HOME OF FARGO-MOORHEAD. SINCE OUR FOUNDING IN 2015, WE HAVE SUPPORTED AND UPLIFTED OVER 9,000 REFUGEES, IMMIGRANTS, AND FAMILIES FROM THE SOUTH SUDANESE, SOMALIAN, NEPALESE, CONGOLESE, KURDISH, IRAQI, AND BHUTANESE COMMUNITIES.

This is the reality for many New Americans who have sought refuge in FargoMoorhead carrying with them the weight of past hardships and the hope for a brighter tomorrow. At Community Connect Center CCC we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive regardless of their background. Founded in 2015 by South Sudanese refugees who understood the challenges firsthand CCC is a beacon of hope and support for New Americans particularly those from East Africa.
