Community Interface Services

Community Interface Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing person-centered services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. Founded in 1983 as a California nonprofit corporation, it is based in Vista, California, and primarily serves San Diego County, with some services extending to neighboring counties and statewide.

Mission and Values

The organization's mission is to assist people with developmental disabilities in reaching their individual potential for community participation and independence by providing quality, individualized, community-based support and training. The organization also supports employers by providing a qualified applicant pool and assisting with new employee integration, offering benefits like tax credits, low turnover, and low training costs.

Operational Scope

Community Interface Services supports approximately 1,600 individuals annually with a staff of around 180 direct service personnel. Its services are designed to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives within their communities.
