Partners in Health is a group of medical professionals, technical experts, and dedicated volunteers who give their time and energy to improve the health of people in the RAAN (northeast) region of Nicaragua. We believe it is better to teach than to do. Our goal is to help establish sustainable health care. Long-term improvement can be fostered by caring individuals becoming “Partners in Health” with their third world counterparts.

PARTNERS IN HEALTH HOME ABOUT US PROJECTS NEWS CONTACT More Companeros in la Salud de Maine Sharing the gift of Health Message from the founder We have established a different focus this past year due to the deteriorating political situation in Nicaragua. The majority of NGOs have been disbanded. We are lucky because we have been working through the government on a project they have approvedwhich is sending money for medical student scholarships. Another organization Adelante Muheres has been providing scholarships for female medical students for several years which has been very successful which inspired us to do the same for the male students.
