Autism SoCal - Empowering Young Adults with Autism Through Community, Employment, and Housing
To ensure that individuals on the autism spectrum live productive and meaningful lives in the community. To accomplish this, FAA will relentlessly innovate and implement strategies to:
1. Increase the understanding and acceptance of people with autism;
2. Ensure transition plans result in a more independent adult life that is meaningful to the individual;
3. Increase access for College to Career, Employment and Affordable Housing in local communities;
4. Ensure that individuals on the autism spectrum have effective interventions, services and supports throughout their lifetime;
5. Partner with City, County, State and at the Federal level to advocate for programs and services that support self-realization of individuals on the autism spectrum.
