Funds raised by the Foundation will be used to Provide scholarships to attract and retain skilled nurses Fund medical technology and equipment Support facility upgrades to keep patients safe and deliver better care Promote wellness programs to improve health in the community The Foundation is a separate notforprofit 501 c 3 charitable organization established to support Wayne UNC Health Care. It will achieve this goal through advocacy education philanthropy relationships and stewardship. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the IRS.
