Mission Statement At UFCW Local 1473 we are dedicated to advocating for the rights dignity and wellbeing of all members. Our mission is to ensure fair wages safe working conditions and equitable treatment for employees across food processing meat packing plants grocery stores retail health care facilities and cannabis dispensaries. We believe in the power of collective action to fight for job security healthcare benefits and protections against exploitation. Through education organizing and negotiation we empower our member workers to have a voice in their workplace and their cba.
