Our Mission The mission of Support Officers of Whatcom County is to impact and influence the quality of life for families experiencing tragedy and trauma in our community and the First Responders who serve them. Support Officers are. specially trained civilian volunteers who respond to 911 calls where there has been or is likely to be a fatality.
