It is also a directory of nearly 11,000 animal shelters and adoption organizations across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Organizations maintain their own home pages and pet data. One at a Time K-9 Rescue's mission is to help dogs find their forever homes. We pull dogs from the shelter, provide them with veterinary care and a temporary home until they are adopted. We have a rescuer in North Carolina and one in northern Ohio, but most of our adoptions take place around Cleveland, OH.
