Foundation for Charitable Activities in Bangladesh OUR MISSION The Foundation for Charitable Activities in Bangladesh FCAB is an American nonprofit and nongovernmental organization whose goal is tofacilitate socioeconomic development in Bangladesh by nonresident Bangladeshis and others interested in working with the countrys disadvantaged. FCAB will focus first on the entire needs of one village Bagdumur in Sirajganj district. It will enable financial contributions towards FCAB projects facilitate the exchange of interns professionals and volunteers between the United States and Bangladesh encourage social entrepreneurs and build partnerships with relevant institutions. 2 Weaving Machines to produce fabric were provided to ultrapoor women 180 Students in 5 preprimary schools received reusable water bottles 1250 Individuals received masks and antiseptic during 2020 Covid pandemic 547 Households participated in 2020 clean sanitation project 685 Households impacted by the Covid pandemic received food and financial assistance 169 Individuals received services at the 2023 FCAB eye clinic 193 during Covid pandemic 343 individuals served in 2019 94 Ultrapoor women participated in the 5 year Jeebika womens entrepreneurship project impacting more than 500 household members 151 Adolescents participated in health awareness sessions during Covid pandemic Activities Public Health Primary Health Education Entrepreneurship Environment Partnerships Keep up with our work There is no social networking menu defined.
