International Christian Scholarship Foundation
Our organization exists to provide scholorships to students outside of the United States who are committed to service to others. ICSF was founded in 1955 by Elsie Farris, a Long Beach, CA, attorney. Through her travels internationally, she saw the need for educating people worldwide to serve their local communities as doctors, nurses, teachers, ministers, and other helping professionals.

Our Mission Because the Education of Women brings greater health wealth and security to communities it is the mission of ICSF to provide financial support to scholars in developing communities worldwide. Who We Are ICSF is an autonomous body whose 18 directors are elected from the ecumenical membership of Church Women United in Southern CaliforniaSouthern Nevada. All directors serve without compensation and volunteer their time and talents to achieve the goals of ICSF.
