Our mission is to help children develop skills for success in school and life through learning chess Chess for Success (CFS) uses the game of chess to help youth succeed in school and in life. Our mission is to develop community, connection, and confidence by learning and playing chess, helping students build the academic, social, and emotional skills necessary for future success. CFS is dedicated to helping K-12 students in Oregon and Southwest Washington reach their full potential by mitigating the educational gap in Title 1 schools, with a focus on BIPOC, low-income, and rural communities.
