Our founder Anneliese started the project in hopes to teach locals and visitors alike about the history of Lake Tahoe and to share local legends. Anneliese and her family have lived in South Lake Tahoe for over 50 years. Our Mission Our History Our History The Lake by Localss mission is to preserve and share the rich history and cultural legacy of the Lake Tahoe region by amplifying the voices and stories of its residents.
