Getting Ahead Foundation Home About Programs Contact Get Involved Support Us Events Board Videos More About Us Getting Ahead in the Valley is a community initiative offered at no cost to interested families who are ready to begin moving toward freedom from poverty. Individuals and families selfselect themselves to participate in a curriculum called Getting Ahead in a JustGettin39By World and create a future story for their family. It is a multiphased selfsufficiency program that supports low income individuals as they work to build resources and achieve goals towards stability. Getting Ahead has helped me to create many connections in the community and find the motivation to work harder.
