The Woman’s Cancer Association of the University of Miami
FOUNDED IN 1959, THE MISSION OF THE WOMAN'S CANCER ASSOCIATION (WCA) IS TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR CANCER RESEARCH, CANCER EDUCATION, AND PATIENT WELFARE. MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN TO ANY WOMAN, MAN OR CHILD WHO SUPPORTS THE OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION. FUNDING IS A RESULT OF INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY GRANTS, COMMUNITY PARTNERS, CORPORATE SPONSORS, FUNDRAISERS, OUR RESALE STORE (BARGAIN BOX), AND MANY THOUSANDS OF VOLUNTEER HOURS BY MEMBERS OF WCA.
