Empowering adult English language learners to success and upward mobility What We Do Potencia trains the nextgeneration leaders college students high school students and young professionals as volunteer English tutors for adult immigrants in their communities. Our tutors lead 1on1 or smallgroup classes virtually or in community spaces. The Problem 95 of adult English language learning needs nationwide are not met by the existing services. Adult immigrants find it difficult to access classes tailored to their learning needs work schedules and budgets.
