HOME ABOUT CONTACT EVENTS MERCH DONATE Right To Read is a 501c3 organization dedicated to providing equitable access to quality reading resources personalized support and communitybased programs to empower students in achieving literacy and lifelong success. FACTS AND FIGURES Only 37 of 4thgrade students nationwide are proficient in reading making them more lilely to experience poverty school drop out and academic failure. Illiteracy has a direct correlation with the American prison population as 3 out of 5 prison inmates can39t read. Children who are not reading on grade level by the end of 3rd grade have a 1 in 8 chance of catching up and are 4x more likely to drop out of school.
