Is to assist in the growth and development of youth who lack the necessary resources to achieve a solid education. The process of learning takes place outside and inside of schools hence inadequacies in the community school or home may contribute to academic failure. UASIST seeks to eliminate the socioeconomic and personal barriers that an increasing number of students face and also to assist schools that are not prepared to accommodate these students. UASIST views parent involvement as having an enormous impact on students attendance academic achievement and overall attitude.
