Biennial Foundation provides advocacy and thought leadership for the international arts community and to engage and inspire diverse non-professional audiences by actively fostering the study, recognition and appreciation of perennial exhibitions of contemporary art, design and architecture commonly known as “biennials".Our mission is to cultivate the biennial industry by assisting biennials in achieving their mission, enriching artistic offer and developing audiences.In furtherance of these purposes, the Corporation may do any of the following:(a) develop and maintain a highly-visible on-line interface functioning as the reference point for all biennials;(b) support or produce relevant artistic and creative projects; (c) organize or contribute to educational initiatives, knowledge-generating activities and cultural experiences for diverse professional and non-professional audiences, such as conferences, workshops, training programs, guided tours, publications, etc.
