The Social Innovators for Americans Association | community movement | 11110 Sunset Hills Road, Reston, VA, USA

We help Community-Based Organizations (CBO) break the cycle of generational poverty. Our association of diverse problem-solvers conducts cross-community collaboration workshops that use residents’ collective wisdom to transform families’ lives. In addition, we deliver education services through our Community Leadership Academy to ensure aspiring community leaders have the tools to lead their neighbors to a better quality of life. Our vision is to empower low-income residents to find innovative ways to transcend systemic barriers to economic mobility. We plan to do this by ensuring every low-income community in America has access to qualified community-driven social innovators.

Inclusive STEM SchooltoWork Pipeline Only 48 of high schools offer computer science courses in lowincome areas Innovative Education Reform Schools in lowincome areas receive about 1000 less per student than those in wealthier areas Restorative Juvenile Justice Reform Students suspended or expelled are nearly 3X more likely to be involved with the juvenile justice system. The Challenge is Multidimensional Many communities struggle with social issues that impact the next generation39s ability to achieve upward social mobility.
