Ocmulgee Land Trust Preserving Land For Future Generations Welcome Board of Directors Our Mission The Ocmulgee Land Trust is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving local property and handling conservation easements along the Ocmulgee River and throughout Middle Georgia. The mission of the Ocmulgee Land Trust is to conserve Georgia properties to protect water quality preserve wildlife habitat and to enhance the quality of life for future generations. OLT provides support of economic activity in our region by providing a favorable conduit for business and industrial expansion through the appropriate use of mitigation lands to offset the impacts of this expansion. About The Ocmulgee Land Trust was started in 2004 by Burton Lee as he sensed a need in the Middle Georgia area.
