in 1998 a doctor and a philanthropist had a big idea Make healthcare accessible to all residents of East Hampton Town 26 years later that mission is still going strong Our mission To improve the quality and availability of healthcare for all citizens of the Town of East Hampton whether insured uninsured or underinsured with one standard of care for all In action In 2002 we welcomed people from Wainscott to Montauk to our brand new Healthcare Center. We also introduced an innovative approach to providing medical care by helping patients without sufficient insurance coverage to get the quality care they need supporting the doctors to keep yearround medical care accessible to all of us introducing preventive care social services and mental health initiatives to improve the health and wellbeing of the whole Town launching community outreach and educational programs to help people now and in the future We are driven to further our mission as a model for other communities One standard of care for all Internal Medicine Family Medicine Gynecology Pediatrics Dermatology Pharmacy Lab Radiology Other Specialties Since 1998 donations have made all this possible The mission continues FROM medical care to social services Why we need your support The The East Hampton Healthcare Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization under the regulations of the Internal Revenue Service.
