Education & Training
We provide a tuition-free apprenticeship program to Mainers as a pathway to becoming fully licensed and capable journeyman electricians.
Economic Development
Our program operates under a “earn while you learn” philosophy. Apprentices work during the day in the electrical trade and attend classes at night.
Environmental Sustainability
The JATC has numerous apprentices working on solar projects across the state, as well as energy-efficient heat pump installations. The JATC also offers continuous education related to solar and heat pump installation.
