These families experience trauma from physical and verbal abuse neglect poverty substance abuse and more. Since 1937 Child Family Services of Northwestern Michigan has provided support services such as child welfare programs counseling and trauma assessments runaway and homeless youth assistance and ongoing training opportunities that create safer and healthier communities throughout the region.
