We promote collaboration and partnership at the regional level. Discover How Our Regional Councils of Governments Can Help North Carolinas 16 regional councils provide diverse services to member governments including offerings like federal and state program delivery aging services transportation planning workforce development community planning GIS mapping services and counsel from convening regional leaders. In response to member demand the 16 councils now provide a broader range of additional services such as administrative support financial services interim executive management human services program delivery and economic development.
