It plays a unique role in enabling women to develop new skills and gives them opportunities to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities. We hold meetings for any ladies of our village, which could educate them, and which also provides friendship. We also hire out our hall at a nominal rate for various other village activities, such as the history society and the whist and bridge clubs. Thorverton Football Club regularly use our hall for meetings.
