Hertford British Hospital Charity LHpital FrancoBritannique Hertford British Hospital fut construit entre 1872 et 1879 suite a la guerre francoprussienne par Sir Richard Wallace grand philanthrope anglais en memoire de son pre le 4me Marquis de Hertford lui aussi francophile mort en 1870. Cest le mme Sir Richard Wallace qui donna son nom aux fontaines Wallace symboles de sa grande generosite et qui encore aujourdhui sont source deau potable dans les rues de Paris. 130 ans plus tard la Hertford British Hospital Corpopration HBHC est lorganisation de bienfaisance qui veille a ce que luvre medicale creee par Sir Richard poursuive sa mission auprs de la communaute locale et de la population anglophone. La HBHC met gracieusement a la disposition de lHpital FrancoBritanniqueFondation CognacqJay des locaux hospitaliers situes au 3 rue Barbs a LevalloisPerret.
