Lamyatt Somerset Welcome to ourvillage Lamyatt a small rural hamlet of some183 residents borders the local landmark of Creech Hill and is close to the market towns of Castle Cary and Bruton. One of the longest continuously inhabited settlements in Britain it has a recorded history predating Roman times and is nowa thriving community with villagers drawn from all walks of life. Our website provides general information for visitors and residents alike. It also acts as an archive for our distributed newsletter and emails.
