It has been the catalyst for the development of guidelines and the dissemination of best practice in many areas. It also seeks to champion the general concept of work-based learning. Training Events ASET Community Resources Who We Represent For 40 years ASET has been at the forefront of developments in all forms of work based learning and placements. It provides a comprehensive range of services for its members nearly 2000 academic and placement professionals at over 100 HEPs. Many ASET members are UK based Higher Education providers and unlike many other subscription organisations our Institutional Membership covers every single member of staff in the organisation. We also have organisations with Corporate Membership who are typically employers or placement support agencies.
