WOMAD Foundation is the charitable arm of the WOMAD Festival. We provide grants up to 5000 to support those who use music art and dance from all cultures as a catalyst for change. We seek to support projects where participants from different backgrounds including those from marginalised groups come together through collaboration performance or other outcomes. Past Projects Dance Roots Africa Swindon based Dance Roots Africa won a hardfought competition between over fifty arts organisations across the UK to be selected for the WOMAD Foundation 40th Anniversary project.
