About Us
We are a volunteer organisation who provide free tuition and instruments for it's members. We have both a senior band and a training band. We finance our organisation by performing at paid engagements throughout the year and by our own fund raising efforts. we also complete a variety of charity events throughout the year

About Us Chinnor Silver Band is situated in the village of Chinnor in South Oxfordshire and has its own band room in the village located on Lower Road check the contact us section for a map where it practices on Wednesday evenings. The band has been in existence for about 160 years established c1850 and plays a wide range of music from traditional brass Band and classical pieces to modern rock and pop. The band provides entertainment throughout the year at fetes garden parties concerts etc and has also performed on television and in advertisements. In the past few years we have seen a resurgence in the organisation of the band with the introduction of the training band and learner tutoring.
