Music Preserved holds the largest private archive in the UK of recordings of operas, orchestral concerts, recitals, talks and interviews in live performance, rehearsal and conversation involving many of the world’s greatest artists. Music Preserved was founded to preserve documents of public performances in recorded sound for future generations, securing, as far as possible, the integrity of the performances and the performance contexts.
