The Society was founded in April 1962. It covers the local history of Twickenham, Whitton, Teddington and the Hamptons Awaken,foster and bring together all people having an interest in the historic past of the various parts of the former Borough of Twickenham.Register and make known existing records and collections of manuscripts, etc., relating to the Borough and to extend the collection.Undertake research into the history of the Borough and to record and to make known the results .
