Welcome to the Village of Box Latest News Welcome to BOX Welcome to Box in Gloucestershire a small picturesque Cotswold village located just outside the market town of Minchinhampton. Box is surrounded by 600 acres of protected National Trust landscape within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty AONB 1 of 46 UK countrysides that has been designated for conservation including Box Wood Nature Reserve. Box Village is regularly visited by freeroaming highland cows and horses. Box was first documented in the 14th century as La Boite The Box gradually becoming recognised as a local weaving industry hub until the 1800s.
