Supporting small charities focused on the environment education and the Third World PEOPLE Our Mission History The charitable trust was founded in 1961 by the former Labour cabinet minister John Diamond later Lord Diamond. His family continue to act as Trustees deciding which charities they should support each year. History Our Mission History Educational and General has supported numerous small charities over the years both in the UK and abroad from educational special needs provision for UK children to water projects in the Third World.
