We are GIFT GIFT supports outgoing young UK citizens to establish friendships and direct cultural contacts through homestay visits with indigenous communities in developing countries. The philosophy of GIFT is that the character and development of young people can be further improved through direct contact with people of other cultures. The Trustees believe this can be best achieved by living with a host family in a developing country not as an honoured guest but by becoming an ordinary member of that family.
