The Countryside Charity! We promote the beauty, tranquillity and diversity of rural North and East Yorkshire. We campaign for a beautiful, living North and East Yorkshire countryside Endeavour to influence the conduct and policies of local and national government and other bodies; to ensure that development is in the best interests of the people who live in North Yorkshire. We also seek to preserve the landscape and townscapes as best can be done in the light of changing circumstances. We co-operate closely with like minded bodies in the pursuit of these activities.
