Friends of Leeds City Museums Welcome Welcome to the website of the Friends of Leeds City Museums. This site was last updated March 9th 2025 and is updated on a regular basis. The City of Leeds has a vast and proud heritage and the inventiveness of its citizens and the quality of their manufactured products are known and revered throughout the world that they helped to develop. The Museums of Leeds are the guardians of this heritage and it is their prime purpose to protect and preserve through acquisitions and collections as much of this history and culture as is reasonably possible.
