To promote beekeeping through education and training for the benefit of the environment and mankind because of the important role of bees in the production of food. Children/young people, people with disabilities and special needs and other charities/voluntary bodies are also beneficiaries.

Wharfedale Beekeepers Association Keeping Bees in Wharfedale since 1921 Posts Learn to be a Beekeeper 20256 The first part of this years WBKA beekeeper training progam will be a Taster Day on either Sat 18th or Sun 19th May. For more information about this and the rest of the program please see the Learn About Beekeeping page. WBKA Annual General Meeting and Honey Show 2024 This years AGM and Honey show will be held at Ilkley Rugby Club on the evening of Friday 15th November. All members are encouraged to attend and to submit entries to the show.
