Home What we do About badgers Ways to support us News Gwent Badger Group About the group The Group was founded in 1974 and since then has continued to campaign for conserve and rescue badgers across the county of Gwent. Gwent has a healthy population of badgers. They occur mainly in the more rural areas but there are a number of small populations which extend into towns and cities. We operate in the local authority areas of Caerphilly Torfaen Newport Monmouthshire and Blaenau Gwent.
