The original trust established in 1981 provided accommodation for ladies who were poor and aged. In 2006 with approval from the Charities Commission the trusts property was sold and a new charity established. Objects of the charity 1 The object of the charity is to relieve women over the age of 50 who are in need by virtue of financial hardship sickness or poor health.
