During the 6039s and the 7039s few Brahmin families migrated to Leicester and decided to make their home. Thereafter to fulfil the missing needs of religious education culture and above all the social contacts few pioneer well wishing members of the community formed the organisation Samaj on 3rd Oct 1970.
