THE MIDLAND GEOTECHNICAL SOCIETY
Midland Geotechnical Society
The Midland Geotechnical Society organises evening lectures in the Birmingham area, generally once a month between October and May. The lectures are on a geotechnical topic and promote continued education of students, practising engineers and retired members of the geotechnical community. Occasional afternoon seminars and site visits are arranged. We make several financial awards per year.

2024 to 2025 Subscription Form Download Our only income is from members and sponsors so if you havent already please complete a Subscription Form and return to Lindsay Burt at the address on the form or by email. Members benefit from access to pastpresentations on the website and reduced seminar rates. Sponsorship Opportunities with the MGS As a well regarded society that attracts a wide and varied audience to our lectures our sponsorship opportunites are very popular. We have two levels Patron Sponsors and Supporting Sponsors.
