1st Hensingham Scout Group Volunteer Cubs Beavers Scouts Welcome to the 1st Hensingham Scout Group. Weve been helping young people from Whitehaven and the surrounding area develop skills for life for over 70 years. We39re one of the largest and most active Scout Groups in West Cumbriaapproximately 100 young people aged 614 join us every week to take part in adventurous activities like climbing camping and kayaking learn new skills such as cooking CPR and map reading and develop their confidence and resilience ready for whatever life throws at them.
