The volunteers gathered a wonderful array of posters photographs and documents that showcased the variety of social events clubs and activities that Purton has boasted over many years. Who remembers the 1990 Purton Horse and Dog Show and Gymkhana when Princess Diana and Princes William and Harry visited. Or the wonderful Festival of Village Life in 1988.
