The Hall was first built in 1974 for use by the residents of the village as a social centre a place to meet and to hold educational and recreational classes for the community. This founding principle is the cornerstone of the Village Halls life today with hundreds of members of the local community using the buildings every week including a number of regular hirers based both within the village and the surrounding area.
