Providing urgent financial assistance to patients and their families since 1991 Who We Are We are the only UK charity to provide emergency financial support for anyone waiting for or who has had a solid organ transplant In 1991 leading transplant surgeon Ross Taylor founded the Transplant Patients Trust of Great Britain with the aim of providing emergency financial support to patients who are waiting for or who have had a solid organ transplant in the UK. Since this time our charity has supported hundreds of patients and with the help of the amazing individuals who raise funds for us we continue to do so. Currently the charity has five volunteer trustees. We have an extransplant social worker and an ex transplant coordinator along with three transplant recipients and we pool our skills and knowledge to offer support and are constantly evolving to improve what we do.
