YORK CORONARY SUPPORT GROUP TRUST

The Group was formed to provide an essential part of the rehabilitation process after a heart attack or heart surgery. This is done through regular Monthly Meetings, exercise classes, walking group, art group and swimming sessions. Members are kept in touch through a quarterly Newsletter.

About The Group York Coronary Support Group Trust a registered charity was formed in 1988 to provide what is considered to be vital help and support needed by cardiac patients and their families following the patients illness and release from hospital. We hope to enable them to return to as normal a life as possible. The Group forms an essential part of the rehabilitation programme which commences in the Coronary Care Unit of York District Hospital. If you want to meet other people with heart concerns and their families please come and join York Coronary Support Group share experiences glean advice participate in social events make new friends and have fun.
