BERKSHIRE ORNITHOLOGICAL CLUB
Berkshire Ornithological Club |
The Club organises lectures, workshops and field activities relating to wild birds and their conservation. It manages surveys and recording and prepares an annual report on the birds of Berkshire. It maintains the Berkshire county database of bird records and makes the data available to bona fide researchers and other interested parties. It raises funds and gives grants for bird conservation.

What We Do TheBerkshire Ornithological Club promotes education and study of wild birds and their conservation in Berkshire. Anyone interested in birds and birdwatching is welcome beginner or expert local patch enthusiast or international twitcher. There is a full programme of events with illustrated talks normally held at the University of Reading from October to April and excursions including occasional overseas visits through the year. The Club supports conservation through its small grants fund and by surveying and habitat management work in the field.
