It plays a unique role in enabling women to develop new skills and gives them opportunities to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities. The Federation oversees 109 WIs throughout Leicestershire and Rutland, organising educational courses in crafts, public affairs, health and wellbeing, sport and other areas, aimed at providing women with the opportunity to maximise their enjoyment of life and involvement in the local community.
